Where It All Began... The Story of Pastor Madhu Babu Tamarisi

My grandmother was the first in our lineage to encounter the grace of Jesus. After hearing the gospel, she boldly turned away from the worship of Hindu idols to surrender her life to Christ. From that moment, God began a profound transformation within her soul. She grew into a powerful woman of prayer, interceding with unwavering faith for our family. One by one, my relatives moved from the worship of false gods to follow the living Savior—and I was among them. It is because of her persistent prayers that I serve the Lord today. My own path to the truth was a difficult journey. I was born in a remote village on the day of Amasa, which Indian tradition identifies as a day of total darkness. Amasa became my nickname, and under that heavy shadow, I was told I would never amount to anything. Hopelessness defined my early years. However, in 2009, I met Jesus, and He began teaching me to walk in a brand-new identity. I now hold fast to the promise of Colossians 1:13: He has delivered me from the domain of darkness (amasa) and transferred me into His light. In 2012, I felt a clear calling to ministry, and by 2019, I helped establish Global Kingdom. This community-focused ministry allows us to host worship services, run children’s programs, and care for orphans and widows. Over the last five years, it has been my greatest privilege to share the love of Jesus with the unreached people of India through this work.

Our Mission

Our mission is to share the love of Christ by offering safety, hope, and restoration to vulnerable children and families in South India and beyond. We support an orphanage that serves as a refuge for homeless children, those rejected for their faith, tribal children, and young survivors rescued from sex trafficking. With compassionate care, quality education, medical support, and family reconciliation whenever possible, we work to rebuild lives with dignity, purpose, and the assurance that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God. Every child we serve is given the opportunity to heal, grow, and step into a future filled with hope.

Beyond the orphanage, our ministry reaches into the community through children’s and youth programs, widow care, benevolence outreach, tribal ministry, and food distribution. In each of these efforts, we strive to uplift the hurting, strengthen families, and share God’s grace in practical, life‑changing ways. Whether meeting physical needs, offering spiritual encouragement, or simply standing with someone in their time of struggle, we are committed to being a light of Christ’s love to those who need it most.

Orphanage

As of 2026, more than 18 million children in India have no place to call home. Many are cast out because of their faith in Christ, while others flee abuse or exploitation. GKM is dedicated to reaching these vulnerable children — from local communities, surrounding tribal regions, and those rescued from sex traffickers — by giving them a safe and loving home where they can receive medical care, a quality education, and the support they need to rise above their circumstances and pursue a brighter future. Through ongoing discipleship and practical care, we walk with each child step by step. Our desire is not only to protect them today, but to equip them to become leaders who will transform their families and communities tomorrow

Children's/Youth Ministry

Our children’s and youth ministry in India is dedicated to nurturing, teaching, and empowering young people with the love of Christ. We provide a safe and encouraging environment where children and teens can grow spiritually, emotionally, and academically through Bible teaching, discipleship, mentoring, and community outreach. Through regular gatherings, youth programs, and practical support, we help guide the next generation toward hope, purpose, and a deeper relationship with God, equipping them to become strong leaders within their families, communities, and churches.

Widow Ministry

Our widow ministry in India is committed to honoring, supporting, and uplifting women who have lost their husbands and often face deep hardship and isolation. We provide practical assistance, spiritual encouragement, and community connection through regular visits, prayer, fellowship, and essential resources. By offering compassion, guidance, and a place to belong, we help widows regain dignity, stability, and hope as they rebuild their lives and experience the love of Christ in tangible ways.

Tribal Ministry

Our tribal ministry in India is devoted to reaching and supporting families and children in remote tribal regions who often face poverty, isolation, and limited access to basic resources. We work to build relationships, share the love of Christ, and meet practical needs through food distribution, education support, medical assistance, and community outreach. By standing alongside these communities with compassion and respect, we help strengthen their hope, dignity, and opportunity for a brighter future.

You Can Make A Difference

                       PRAY
There are many ways you can help support what the Lord is doing in India.  First and foremost, Prayer.  Please keep us in prayer.  Not only does the Indian Government look down upon Christian Ministries in India, but persecution from the locals is an everyday battle. Please pray for the Christians in India.
           ANSWER THE CALL
Answering the call to become a missionary is a step of faith and obedience. It means saying yes to God’s heart for the nations and being willing to go wherever He leads. Missionaries carry the hope of the gospel to people who may have never heard the name of Jesus, offering love, service, and truth in His name. It’s not an easy path, but it is a life of surrender, purpose, and eternal impact.  The harvest truly is plentiful but the workers are few.  If you feel the call to serve, answer it.  If you would like to do more, please contact us or your local church to get involved

                                  GIVE

Just because you can’t physically go and serve in the mission field doesn’t mean you can’t be a part of what the Lord is doing in India. Financial support is needed now more than ever.  Especially faithful monthly support. From completing the construction of the orphanage to providing food, medical care, and more, your tax-deductible giving is a vital part of meeting these urgent needs.  Click the link below and lets save these kids!!!
